Message from the Director
I
am proud that the New England Musculoskeletal Institute is a
premier choice for problems affecting bones, joints and muscles.
Our goal is to not only provide excellent care but also develop
novel therapies to enhance our patient's quality of life and
overall health.
Many of our surgeons and physicians are nationally and
internationally recognized experts in orthopaedic surgery,
rheumatology and the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
We provide a comprehensive array of orthopaedic services
including sports medicine and total joint replacement which is
my area of interest.
In addition, our Comprehensive Spine Center, Osteoporosis
Center, Center for Rheumatologic disease which includes the
management of patients with arthritis, lupus and rheumatoid
arthritis, all provide excellent and cutting edge care for their
patients.
Our team of sports medicine surgeons provide care for both
collegiate and high school athletes. We are the orthopaedic
consultants and team physicians for the UConn Huskies athletic
teams, including men's and women's basketball and football, and
the Trinity College hockey program.
The unique aspect of the New England Musculoskeletal
Institute is, that our specialists work together to provide the
optimal care available. In addition, our clinicians and
scientists are pursuing treatments and cures for tomorrow
through research and education. We are committed to patient-centered medicine. All care is tailored to the unique needs of
our patients.
We are close to home. Best of all, all of the strengths and services of the New England Musculoskeletal Institute are available to you in a convenient, suburban location on the
