Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
Where We Work: Rotations
Our PGY-1 residents complete a year of general surgery under the direction of the
Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition to the four main affiliated hospitals, the first year
resident
spends three months at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
The remaining 16 residents are spread among various orthopaedic services at UConn, Hartford Hospital,
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
