Cynthia Baczewski is a physician assistant in the Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Cynthia has extensive experience in
managing acute and chronic sports medicine injuries of the
shoulder and knee, as well as preoperative and postoperative
management of patients
with ligament, cartilage and joint injuries of the knee and
shoulder. Cynthia offers expert care of
complex foot and ankle trauma, degenerative disorders, and bone
infection. Additionally, she manages orthopaedic
emergencies and provides inpatient and operative care of
orthopaedic patients with hip fractures, trauma, total joint arthroplasty, adult reconstruction and complex bone and joint
infection at the John Dempsey Hospital.
