David Kotler is a physician assistant in the Division of Neurosurgery and Comprehensive Spine Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has over 24 years of clinical experience as a physician assistant. David has expertise in the management of a variety of conditions of both the brain and spinal cord, including Chiari malformation, cerebrovascular disorders, primary brain tumors and metastatic disease. He has extensive experience managing patients with both acute and chronic neck and back pain, as well as emergency evaluation of traumatic neck and back injuries. David offers expert care of complex Workers' Compensation spine injuries. He actively participates in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care of neurosurgical and spine patients in both the in-patient and out-patient settings.
